Does my training meet the requirements for membership?

Graduate of an accredited college or university, which has the following program accreditation requirements:

Training Requirements:

• 450 Hours minimum of training from any approved institution.

• Must include 120 hours of practicum.

Practicum Requirements:

• Must be an environment where students can apply learned knowledge and skill in both the classroom and in an agency setting under approved supervision.

Instructor's Qualifications (minimum):

• Master's degree or equivalent in counselling field and 8 years of counselling experience.

Required Education: 

The Core Competencies required are tested under the following categories:

1. Fondations of Counselling
2. Counselling Interventions
3. Counselling Process, Skills and Techniques
4. Ethics and Ethical Practice
5. Reflective Practice
6. Professional Practice and Communication

I would like to update my profile but I can't see where to change it?

You need to be logged in to update your profile. Once Logged in, on the left under the User Menu click the Member Profile link. When logging in, use the mouse on the Login Now box. Do not use Enter on the Keyboard.

How to add an event to the Events Calendar?

Login with your username and password. If you don't have a login, register here: Member Registration

Once Logged in, on the left under the User Menu click the Manage Events link.
